I wish for a light to shine
Hoping for a slight spark
Though to no avail
Darkness prevail
Not a single fire burned
Hope is lost
As it rain blood
Turning the void into a sea of red
Wash away with blood
I float away in this silent void
Quietly praying to the great beyond

Heart broken I stand in the shadows.
Hands by my side, head hung low.
With the wound on my hand.
A blood stain on the sand.
I look into the sky
Way up high.
I sprout wings and fly away,
I am an angel, i am one today...

Fallen Angel
Deep within this soul,
A fallen angel appears,
She is tormented daily,
burned and hated by the truth of life,
and struggles under the pain of it all,
It screams in the darkness,
searching out for that something,
trying to keep its head out of the water,
but no-one is there to rescue her before she drowns,
The angel holds on for life itself,
never understanding why,
life is so precious,
when your'e wanting to die,
All because of the life she leads,
this fallen angel stirrs,
in its lonely heart,
it slowly withers and dies,
Deep within this soul a fallen angel wanders,
in and out of existance,
Alone.

An Angels Death
When he dies his wings go bare
His heart turns black
His eyes turn dim and blank
He has been blind for a long time
No one is there to hold him
Drowning in sorrow
Lost in Darkness
He calls his lovers name
He cries tears of crimson regret
He's drenched in what he fears
Though he is chained forever
He cannot get away
His death was sweet, and slow
He suffered it was delicious
His screaming was succulent
As he lies dieing he thinks of the one he loves
He calls out his name as though he would come.

Its doesnt stink at all. We tend to be our own worst critic. Its somewhat comforting. I see both a positive message & a dark one.
